What I should do as a citizen to stop global warming

Regarding the recent years temperatures started to get extreme in the two opposite season “winter and summer”. While we noticed in this winter we had heavy rain that we didn’t used to have it before 10 years that’s one of the signs of global warming in my country .and now we are expecting that this summer will be hotter than the one before. So what can we do? As we all know that CO2 one of the elements that courses global warming, and there are some home machines that produce it for example air condition, So we need to use it less or replace it with another machine such as air fan. Another thing that we can do is to reduce the uses of cars and if the weather is nice we can use bicycle or take a walk. Moreover, when I go to carfour to buy bottles of water even plastic bags when I am done with them these things should be recycled instead of burn it.

The United Arab Emirates with global warming

In fact there are many things we can do to solve the problem of global warming। One solution is to stop producing C02। We can do this by switching from oil, coal and gas to renewable energy। Another solution is to plant more trees. Trees attract carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, which is not a greenhouse gas. A third solution is to use less energy and to recycle more products. Generating electricity is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide. If we use less electricity, we will produce less C02. Also in some countries they use different energy to decreases the pollution such as wind and solar energy. In our country the stop some engines which mix oil with petrol they call it two storks. In addition, if we make small changes now in the way we live, we can keep away from huge changes in the future. Scientists, governments and persons must work together to avoid this threat.

The effects of global warming

The global warming has many effects. I will examine some of these effects then I will explain some of them in details.

1- More floods
2- The number of infectious diseases increased
3- Degraded water quality
4- More intense heat weaves
5- Great lakes water decline
6- Surprising in climate change

When the glaciers melt the sea level will rise and this will create a destructive floods
Will eventually end with a big number of casualties. In addition, due to the floods the number of refuges will increase and the infectious diseases ultemitly will spread between them. On the other hand, places that have big lakes such as sahara in Africa will decline until it disappears.

Causes of global warming

There are many causes of global warming. I will mention some of these causes, then I will examine on of them in details.

1- Carbon dioxide from power plants.
2- Carbon dioxide emitted fro cars.
3- Carbon dioxide from trucks.
4- Methane.
5- Nitrous oxide.
6- Carbon in atmosphere and ocean.

While most know that dioxide creats greenhouse gas. Methane comes second important. back to the IPPC , methane is twenty times more as effective as CO2 in controling
heat in the atmosphere. Levels of metane in the air have sored 145 %. In the last 100 years. Inaddition, methane comes from some types of sources like, rice fields, dirty streams, and from the intial fuel production. The rice in countries that produce is grown in flooded fields and that develop and that cause the damage in the soil, releasing CH4 to the air, launching, through the rice fields.

Global Warming

Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of earth's surface. Since the late 1800 the global average temperature has incresed about 0.7 to 1.4 F (0.4 to 0.8 C). many experts estimate that the average temperature will rise to 2.5 to 10.4 F . that rate of increase would be much larger than most rates of past increases. Scientists are worried that human societies and natural ecosystem might not adapt to rapid climate changes. An ecosystem consists of the living organism and physical environment in a particular area. Global warming could cause much harm, so countries throughout the world have issued and agreement to limit it. However,that agreement know as the kyoto protocol has not yet been ratified. Moreover, the government's concerns start to emerge.
